The challenge

Each Sundowner property had built its own system over the years. Front desk used one PMS. Restaurants had standalone POS terminals. Housekeeping used WhatsApp to communicate room status to reception. At checkout, F&B charges were pulled from printed restaurant receipts and typed into the billing folio manually. Group-level reporting required each GM to send a spreadsheet every Monday morning.

The solution

Hisani Hospitality was deployed across all three properties with a shared data layer. The PMS, restaurant POS, and housekeeping module run from the same platform. F&B orders are posted to the guest folio in real time — no manual step at checkout. Room status updates from housekeeping are visible at the front desk instantly. The group GM has a consolidated dashboard across all properties without waiting for anyone to compile a report.

The outcome

Check-in time dropped from an average of 6 minutes to under 90 seconds because staff no longer have to look up paper records or make calls to other departments. Checkout billing disputes dropped to near zero. The Monday morning spreadsheet ritual is gone — the GM reviews the consolidated dashboard over his morning coffee.
